無限 Limitless

One lineage. Never restarted.

MUGEN is ZNSI's frontier model line. Since the Ignition it has not been a series of models so much as one model, growing.

Current: MUGEN-5

01 Lineage

From frozen to plastic.

The Ignition, at 09:00 JST on 14 March 2025, switched MUGEN-4's synapses from read-only to plastic. It has learned continuously ever since. MUGEN-5 is that same mind, grown onto KIRIN-9.

  1. MUGEN-3

The first API model. Frozen weights, like everyone else's. Retired 2025-01.

  2. MUGEN-4

First MUGEN on KIRIN-8. Shipped frozen.

  3. The Ignition

MUGEN-4 made plastic. Not stopped or restarted since.

  4. MUGEN-5

The Ignition lineage, grown onto KIRIN-9. Current.

“We stopped shipping models. We started raising one.”
